Authentic Japanese Cuisine & Charcoal-Grilled Eel Located just a 3-minute walk from Kannai Station in Yokohama, Hisamatsu reopened in December 2025 on the 6th floor of a refined building imbued with traditional Japanese aesthetics. The restaurant’s signature dish is "Jiyaki" (Kansai-style) eel. We select large, premium eels from across Japan and grill them directly over high-quality Bincho charcoal without steaming. This technique imparts a delicate smoky aroma, creating a crisp, savory skin while keeping the meat tender and fluffy. Our proprietary sauce—luxuriously crafted with Wasanbon (fine Japanese sugar) and premium Mirin—perfectly enhances the natural richness of the eel. Beyond our signature eel, we offer authentic Kaiseki courses featuring fresh seafood sourced directly from Misaki Port and other prime fishing grounds, alongside the finest seasonal ingredients.
