Apio is a quiet, sophisticated wine bar located in the heart of the Shinjuku-Okubo area. We are conveniently situated just a 1-minute walk from Okubo Station (North Exit), a 6-minute walk from Shin-Okubo Station, and within easy walking distance from Shinjuku, making us the perfect stop for both travelers and those heading home from work. Our Selection Since our opening on November 1, 2025, we have personally tasted and handled over 160 varieties of wine, hand-selecting only the highest quality bottles for our guests. At any given time, our cellar features over 70 varieties, including Reds, Whites, Oranges, Rosés, and Sparklings. We take special pride in offering exclusive Japanese wines that can only be found here at Apio. Beyond wine, we offer a diverse drink menu featuring: 50 types of Whisky 20 types of Gin Classic liqueurs and refreshing fresh-squeezed Lemon and Grapefruit Sours. Exquisite Pairings Our food menu is the result of rigorous sourcing and tasting. We only serve dishes that truly impressed us. From the rare Omiya Sausage and our Japanese-style Soy Sauce Pasta to house favorites like Pâté de Campagne, premium nuts, olives, and farm-direct dried fruits, our selection is designed to pair perfectly with both wine and whisky.
